    nice video my son is trying to get me to have amazon deliver him a cheap mountain bike so he won!t miss out of events. his unit has been told to expect to spend hrs walking every day just to get to breakfast and only plan for 1 activity each day as it takes so long to get about. Shame if this is so.

    he book: Live a Simple Life, the Influencer book is a guideline in life's journey. Life is not perfect and can be complicated, but it can be simpler. There is no right or wrong way to live it. The book will guide a young person to avoid trial and errors if followed well; it can direct a person to his or her destination with words of wisdom, practical applications, and tools to guide them as they face the reality of life. It's preparing a young person to adulthood, teaching a young person how to behave in social functions, how to have basic medical knowledge, and how to avoid bad influences and bad situations. It will help a young person to properly accomplish his or her missions and dreams in life in a short period of time. It is an inspiration that can hopefully be spread and shared with someone they care and love. This book will help a lot of parents especially when they do not have enough time with their children.

    I hope someday that there are APRS satellites that have an additional uplink frequency on the 23cm ham band while still maintaining the downlink frequency of 145.825MHz. That way we could utilize tiny directional, hemispherical, or patch antennas that could sit on top of an HT or inside a backpack while deployed. Then we could be free to walk around while beaconing to the ISS or other APRS satellites without carrying bulky antennas. This would be great for backpackers, maritime mobile, and emergencies. forums.qrz.com/index.php?threads/23cm-33cm-geosynchronous-aprs-digipeater-satellite-idea.536671/

  • @JamesHannibalKH2SR
    @JamesHannibalKH2SR 8 лет назад

    Satellite APRS is cool but it's difficult to utilize while walking around carrying a cumbersome 2m antenna. I suggest that the ISS APRS digipeater receive an upgrade that adds an uplink frequency on the 23cm ham band (1200mhz) while maintaining its current uplink/downlink frequency of 145.825MHz. This would allow for considerably smaller directional and hemispherical antennas that could easily be carried by hand, mounted to a handheld radio, or placed in a backpack. forums.qrz.com/index.php?threads/23cm-33cm-geosynchronous-aprs-digipeater-satellite-idea.536671/

      It looks your antenna is in reverse? I looked at several tape measure plans on the internet and I always see the reflector is distance farther than the director from the driven elements. Your is reverse.
